Let's Get Strong!

public - created 01/04/05
A tribe for everyone to discuss all aspects of strength training, especially historical and scientific methods. Includes strong man competitions, kettlebell lifting, olympic lifting, bodyweight calisthenics, gymnastics, odd object lifting (stones, clubs, logs, anvils, etc), powerlifting and even body building. Let's talk about getting stronger!

Why focus on historical musclemen and women? Because they learned how to develop strength before the common usage of steroids began in the late 1950s. Their methods are more applicable to hormonally unassisted people than the methods of juice junkies touted in popular muscle magazines
